Jarrod Bowen Had England’s top opening of the first half, his strike well saved by the Albanian keeper. As a teammate staying deep, he had to provide width down the right side although his balls into the box were hit and miss. Replaced for the final quarter-hour. 6/10

The captain The decisive figure netting 77th and 78th goals for his country. His first a trademark close-range tap-in and the second an excellent headed goal following a clever run away from the opposition.
